Me and two other work colleagues have been asked to play for about a 1/2 hr. at a breakfast fundraiser this Wednesday where about 200 people will be attending. This is not a real serious gig by any stretch, but it will be my first performance for a crowd of that size. We'll be plugging into a Peavey Escort PA system and each of us has to provide our own vocal mics. My acoustic guitar will plug into the Peavey, and for vocals, I only have two mics available to me -- an old AT??? electret condenser (with a battery in it) and my MXL V67G that I recently bought for recording. Not the best choices for sure, but they're all I have at the moment. I was thinking of trying the V67G, but is this a bad choice for performance?
Thanks for any advice.
