Hello guys, I am unsure where to put this question, english is not my first language and I am unsure about what words should be used to describe this problem. I received MXL Studio 1 USB microphone for Christmas, per instruction I set it up and started recording, however on all recording is this high pitched electronic buzzing sound (I put the sample in the attachment).
I tried shielding cables and microphone with aluminium foil, I tried to unplug laptop from AC, I tried using different computer, was playing around with levels but to no avail. When I used my old USB logitech microphone this problem wasnt present so I assume it has something to do with the sensitivity of microphone, what I noticed it, that is seems to correspond to the sound of HDD, but no matter how far I but it the level of noise is the same, any ideas?

BTW:
OS: Win 7
Laptop: Dell M11X
