Anybody out there using Rhythm'N'Chords and/or RealGuitar with Cakewalk. I have HomeStudio2004XL and am considering R'n'C to round out my guitar parts because..........I suck at guitar. I know what I want to play I just am not a clean enough player, there always is a muffled string or a missed note, etc.

Any info on ease of use, overall guitar sounds, upstrokes, downstrokes, et al.

Any info would be welcome.

THanks

I think you'll grow out of Rythm'N'Chords pretty fast. I've just tried the demo, but to me it seems pretty basic. I think you'll grow out of it in a few hours...

The demo of Rhythm and Chords is pretty limiting but when you buy it you get loads of libraries of styles and they are far more detailed than what's offered in the demo or lite version.

It is getting a bit old now and Real Guitar looks the business.

I have the gold or pro version of RnC or whatever it is called. Not being a guitar player, I really like it. I don't have that many guitar parts in my songs, but I turn to that first and generally like the results. There is a bug they are working on.... it plays external midi synths fine, but some people have problems playing soft synths with the plug in. Check out the demo first.

Take Care
