I use minimal fx on my mixes:
Eq,a little compression,d'esser and dynamic classic soft knee then i boost peaks to -1db
i still find my vocals a little low or i might be listening to hard
my question is after i do all the vocals when in edit mode what can i push the vocal volume up to so that it won;t sound stand alone, so it can fit with the beat?
I do a vocal double 1 level same as the beat and the other 1/2 of that level
when i go to mixdown in stereo mode what should the levels peak? I find my vocal levels over the beat.
Any advice is better than none lol
