I use minimal fx on my mixes:

Eq,a little compression,d'esser and dynamic classic soft knee then i boost peaks to -1db

i still find my vocals a little low or i might be listening to hard

my question is after i do all the vocals when in edit mode what can i push the vocal volume up to so that it won;t sound stand alone, so it can fit with the beat?

I do a vocal double 1 level same as the beat and the other 1/2 of that level

when i go to mixdown in stereo mode what should the levels peak? I find my vocal levels over the beat.

Any advice is better than none lol

That's confusing. Seems like you're first saying they're too low. Then, it seems you're saying they're too loud.

on no im saying that when the finished mix the vocals seem low

if i lower the beat there over it

the sample is here, you can see what im talking about.

press no and it will play from here?
i think its ok but i know it can be better as far as the vocals

I changed your link so it doesn't piss people off. :) It was doing something weird, plus you can let them choose if they want hi-fi or lo-fi.

I think you can just lower the vocals a little and get rid of the double effect. It will fit in the beat better.

peace,

What do you mean by vocal double? Are just duplicating the vocal track? Depending, you may need to compress the vocal a little for it to fit in your mix. Just because it peaks higher does not mean it's louder though generally it does. Mix by what you hear and not what you see though seeing can sometimes reveal the obvious problems. You may need to eq the vocals or the instruments if they are stepping on each other. It all kinda depends on what sounds good to you because there is no formula that fix it.

ok i see what i meant was a double of the vocal 2 takes of the same thing.
i usually use 1 high and 1 lowto give it a full sound.

ps. thanks for changing the format i usually don't promote here

I USED YOUR ADVICE AND POSTED A NEW FINAL MIX

Your link isn't working but from your description you probably need more compression and limiting on the vocal. For most modern pop/rap/rock music you almost can't compress the vocal too much.

Try using some compression with a 2-3.1 ratio and try to get around 6-10db of reduction. Then run it into a brickwall limiter and you should be able to get the track to sit right where you want it in the mix.
