definetely would like to know anyone has tried both Music Creator 2003 and Home Studio 2004...I got Music Creator 2003..yeah..it has a lot of software glitches and bugs..definetely wondering if Home Studio 2004 is better. I'm going to be recording electric guitar using a POD XT...right now gotta go thru SB Live 5.1 Soundcard(Uh-oh)..heard you could use the USB cable w/ the XT to record with when using Home Studio 2004. Yeah..I would like to know how the sound quality of Home Studio 2004 compares with the..uh.. higher end Cakewalk products like Sonar....OK gotta go..yeah..time for Wapner....
Wapner main man..main man..
thanks,
Rainbert

Rainbert, I have HS2002, PODXT and a Delta66+omni sound card. It all works really well but latency is an issue if you record via the USB but there is a workaround, its described in the POD manual.

I don't bother with that, I record directly using one of the out put channels from the pOD into my Omni.

One word of advice would be to upgrade your soundcard anytime soon;)

Some folk might say they can hear a difference in sound between the HS2004 and Sonar 2/3 products but believe me, the HS2002 product that I use is easily good enough in terms of sound quality.

I am upgrading to HS2004 next pay check because I want ASIO drivers and don't want to get too far left behind in the upgrade race:D
