Multiple tracks question!

Please help me! Is it possible for me to record multiple tracks at once on Cubase 32? I tried highlighting "track 1" and "track 2", but it only lets me select one at a time. I am using the Tascam US-428 which has four inputs, so I am assuming that I have the capability of doing 4 seperate tracks at once. I hope this doesn't sound too dumb, but I have been doing this for about a year now and still haven't figured out the basics. I have recently gotten into wanting to do this, so here is why the question arises! Thanks again guys!

Thanks Jim. I am going to assume that this is the real manual and not the getting started manual that came with it.
