Multi band compressor plugin

My ozone multi band compressor seems REALLY noisy and i was wondering if anyone has any other suggestions for plugins our outboard gear that might sound better? I've been messing with the one in ozone and it makes it sound kind of like a big blur... I'm sure it's my inexperience with it, but possibly there's something i might get better results with?

Yepp... Ozone's a great idea, but it certainly leaves a funny taste on things...

if you run pro tools the TC Electronics MasterX3 is great. They have a hardware version as well.
