is this a good machine? A friend of a friend wants to sell me one in pretty much mint condition for 600 including the manual and snakes. Good deal?
 
cool i bought it!

now to just buy a mixer... i was thinking about the tascam m2524 or maybe even the 2516? opinions?

can't wait to get into 16 track recording!
