Thanks :) As much as I loved the manatee, it was time for them to go. The new site is a little easier to manage than the old template. It's still not perfect, but I guess I got what I paid for :o

You want another web design? Cause I could use a new mic or two. ;)

Well here's the thing about my site: with the template, I can understand how to make changes, which sometimes I like to do frequently and quickly.

Every time I've looked at a tool to make my own less-ugly site, it's too hard for me to learn. I am actually rather stupid. I don't use a real CAD program to do my schematics; I don't use SPICE, I just do the layouts and PCBs using expressPCB's free software, and then I just build the thing to see if it works.

Similarly, complicated web tools are too much for me. The old ugly site made me money, and the new site is less ugly (and I have a new revision pending with even slightly less uglier colors).

In fact the only thing that bothers me now is the new site doesn't use any frames, which I suppose is generally a good thing, except that it means when you scroll down, you can't see the menu anymore. That is a mild annoyance, but if there is a simple fix that doesn't torpedo my use of the template, I'm interested.

I do miss the sand dollar buttons I use to have. I loved those sand dollars :(

A lot of templates use a bunch of tables and stuff which makes editing complicated.

If you look at this design, for example (which isn't that great I know), and look at the HTML you will see it doesn't use any tables:

Frames generally aren't a good idea. But it is possible to make your content area separate and have it's own scroll bar so the visitor won't have to go back up to get back to the menu. This can be done real easily with CSS, no need for frames.

Another fan of the MSH1s as overheads here... had to pay for mine but they were on a sale so cheap as chips!! Got a pair of MSH1Ks too to use on toms but found them waaaaaaaaaay too hot.. recently got some attenuators from naiant so gotta give this another try.. I'll post some samples when I get around to experimenting..

I bought mine & use it on 'cello, acoustic guitar, sundry percussion and it did a luvverly job mic'ing widdle original Pignose amp.
Worth the money? Bloody oath!
I was REALLY tempted by the one with the sub min tube but have had to curb my spendthift ways due to TERMITES!

I hate frames.

I love MSH mics. They're perfect for acoustic instruments. I have three.

Next, why don't you start another thread and ask which mic < $100 is best for vocals?

Excuse me, but I would only like to have this information if it is in regard to rap vocals only. yo.
