MRS-1044 Volume

About 2 months ago I got a Zoom MRS-1044 off ebay and It works fine exept sometimes the recording levels go up in volume.

I'm pretty sure It's not the headphone jack allthough I am going to have an electrition look at it to make sure there are no loose wires.

Could anything else be doing this.
