I finally got my MR8!!! Man is this different from my Fostex 1/4 " 8 track tape machine. Look's like I have a lot of reading to do...
Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself before I start asking a bunch of newbie question's.
Is it ok to ask them here? (<~~~~first newbie question?)

One of the reason's I decided on the MR8 was because of this forum. You people are really Great! You are so willing to share, music and info...I'm amazed at the knowledge and talent I've seen here. I'm soooo glad to be here.

Like someone said, use the search engine here...tons of info for most any recording topic you are interested in... It has helped me quite a bit...and yes, there seems to be a lot here who are willing to get right to those questions, that is a good thing.
