Mr-8 questions

I just picked up an mr-8 since they are pretty cheap right now and i have tons of those media cards. I needed something portable and i've found it's decently clean when used in conjunction with my mixer. Anyway, i've very new to digital records and i can't figure one thing out. How do you delete a single track. Even though i'll be mixing on my computer, it will be much easier to delete bad takes immediatly. I've read through the manual but find it hard to internalize that sort of stuff until you mess with it. I haven't really used it because I don't want to get everything setup on not know how to use it. If anyone can give me tips, that would be great. Sorry for the newbie question, it's just a whole other world for me and right now I'm finding it tedious to use.
 
Thanks for the tip man. I turns out mine has 1.2 (well according to the box) and nothing changed when i did the install. I've finally started to get the hang of it. It's a pretty big step backwards from pc recording but i can atleast good quality out of it. Just a pain to not be able to see what you have.
