No, I've never heard Tiny Tim's version of "Nowhere Man." I have heard his version of "Great Balls of Fire" though.

I'm not a uke player but would be interested in exploring the possibilities.
As you can probably tell by my user name, my main instrument is the 12-string guitar. I also play 6-string once in a while and might pick up the bass again if I get any deeper into recording. I used to use a cheap Hofner copy 20 years ago. I'm sorry I ever parted company with that one. It had a good sound to it.
I'm also into oddball rhythm instruments. I've been known to use a washboard and metal thimbles for rhythm. What I'd like to do is build a drumkit using plastic trashcans, buckets and gasoline cans. I saw a band using such a drumkit on the tv show "Home Improvement" several years back and thought that was a really nifty use of plastic.
