MR-8 and Mac OS-X

Hello,
does somebody use an MR-8 with Mac OS-X and the Fostex soft ? I tried it, but see a lot of jananese characters instead of filenames.
Has anybody an idea ?

mac and mr 8

USB masstorage extension, searce for this extension on apples page and install it restart computer and it should read it fine, make sure you upgraded the software on your mr 8 also.
 
Hello Dave,

the MAC can read the MR-8 card w/o any problem.
The wavmanager program make the problem with the japan characters.

Do you use the program under Mac OS-X ?

No, i have 9.4. Fostex claims there wavemanager will work with os10

You may want to redownload and install again. Weirder things have happened with downloaded software. Im real curious to see if this works for you as the new mac im looking at has the latest os on it
 
Wave Manger in OSX also is in Japanese. Fairly worthless. I just drag the files onto the desktop.
