iight heres the deal...I'm trying to track out my beats that i have saved on smart media card.....I wanted to know if the mpc allows u to apply EQ effects to each track to be moxdown properly...I have the yamaha motif six and it sucks when it comes to mixing down beats....So is there a way somehow where i can track my beats by just hooking the motif up to the mpc??? after i track out the beats i have already i will be using the mpc sequencer and the motif sounds...I was looking at those 12 to 16 track recorders by boss and they dont have loop record so they are out of the question

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to learn what copy and paste is. You dont need a loop function just to get your beats recorded. But how about u check out my man's classic video and u might learn a thing or to. All u need to do is take the OUTS on your MPC u have a total of 6 and the OUTS on your MOTIF which i believe is 4 and connect those to either your trackrecorder or soundcard and start tracking out your beats. But if u wanted to u could resample your beat into your mpc1000 but u will need the max memory for that and a mixer. Also go over to www.mpc-forums.com its a ton of information on tracking beats from the mpc1000.
