I need to convert some MP3s to WAVs but I'm not sure if this can be done and what programs would enable this to happen. Does anybody do this and what do you use?

Thanks for all replies!

You can use dBpowerAMP Music Converter (dMC) to do this easily.

Just right-click your file and set the parameters(it will remember them the next time) and away you go!

It's free and you can get it here...

dBpowerAMP is AWESOME! Change MP3's to WAV's, WAV's to MP3s (I like to encode my mp3s at 64kbps Mono for my dinky little mp3 player- that gets me an hour of music on a 32 mb card!) and it can even convert to and from Apple's AAC format (just download more codecs)

This is great for doing conversions on bulk.

You realize that whatever data is lost when the MP3 was made cannot be gotten back by saving it to WAV?

That's ok; it is just to transfer some song ideas to my guitarist. I had made MP3s at one point because I needed the hard drive space. Now I just want to present the ideas to him so he can listen to them in the car. I'm going to try the programs listed here...Thanks everybody for replying!
