:)Hi, I am trying to upload a song for a radio station. The error message I'm getting is:

Your uploaded file appears to be encoded as a Variable Bit Rate (VBR) MP3, which is not supported by our system. Please provide a MP3 encoded as a Constant Bit Rate (CBR) file.

I'm using (Free Rip) to turn my song into an MP3. Can someone please tell me what I need to do in order to comply with that requirement?

Thanks,
Paul

Yes, rip it with iTunes or something and select 320kbs, 192, 128, etc. You need to dig a bit deeper into the options menu.

Thanks

:)Thanks Outlaws....I'll give that a try.

Take care,
Paul

it should be under the "preferences, advanced, importing" string of things in Itombs. select "import using:" drop down box, hit MP3 encoder, and hit ok. rip as usual to your selected drive, then upload again. (I try to use 320kbs when possible, but that's just me)

g'luck!:D

Mpeg3?

:)Hi, I joined iTunes and was able to get the 320kbs. However, now the error message rejects the song because it is MPEG3 instead of just MP3. What can I do in the iTunes site to rectify this?

Thanks,
Paul
