I visit occasionally. If someone I know has posted, I'll listen and comment. There may not be time to comment. Mostly, I will.

If I don't recognize anyone on the first page. I'll leave for the most part.

There's times when I don't visit for months and stay busy recording thinking I should post here and visit.

And When I do post a tune and then hang around for as many days as my tune is up and I'm on the project and review all familiar artists' material. I'll listen to newbie's that I don't know and comment. My opinion is not all that important anyway considering my quality of recordings.

Mostly, with newbie's I'll focus on things that sound like my recordings in the beginning that I wanted to get rid of.

I'll say somewhere between honestly selfish and selfishly honest.

I hate it when people miss that I've posted something in their threads... (AHEM, Greg-L! :) :) :) )

...

If you ever posted something in one of my song threads and I didn't acknowledge it, then I sincerely apologize. It was NOT intentional. :o

Well, ya better go dig up your last two threads then, ya dork! :)

Okay Llarion, you are right. I don't know how I missed 2 of my threads being replied to. I usually watch them pretty close. Anyway, I appreciate you taking the time to listen and comment even though I'm too retarded to notice sometimes. ;)

I have given feedback on several tunes without having a tune posted, but I think I might be giving more feedbacks I have a tune posted.

Sometimes I have the time and do many, sometimes I`m busy and only have the time for a short stop:)

Most of the guys who have posted this far are allways on watch when a tune is posted and allways share theire Praise Critics,Ideas, Wisdome (Not teeth, Gorty:D).
You guys are the reason why I think this place rocks.

I like coming to the forum mainly to listen and post feedback, whether or not I have a song up.

I'm gonna get all 'woman-y' on you guys here...

Personally, I'm trying to make a living at producing and engineering music, so HR is really a 'school' for me. I come here for information from guys who have the same gear, same interests etc as I do. Guys who do it for a living already, or are in the same boat as I am. Guys who are more talented, and guys that can learn from the things I know (God help 'em). It helps me to hear others music and see what/how they're doing it. How'd they get that sound, how'd they mic this/that. What I find refreshing is that most of the cats around here are hip to share. RAMI's Drums, David's Violins, RAYC and Greg_L's...well...uh. Anyways...I appreciate everyone's input on my stuff like crazy. People that take time to listen to something that isn't their style, then offer feedback can only help build me up. I, in turn, try to offer the same thing back to the 'community' (so cliche...)

God, that felt great. Anyone wanna go shopping for shoes?

Group hug? Cuddle? Anyone?

Emotional in KC...

i listen whether i have a song posted or not. though i tend to listen to more stuff when i have a song posted because i'm simply here more often. :)

Can this poll be effective if there is a relation to the people who don't post feedback also tend to not vote in polls?

I comment other peoples work when mine is up most often. I come and go in bursts. I plan on commenting a few now.

I will start by answering this poll.:)

I will comment if I listen in my studio... If I'm at work, I may only comment on the structure of the music and nothing sonically or just listen and say nuttin...

Oh god...

That means I'm Gorty!!! :eek::eek::eek:

Without the woman-y, there'd be no defining line of man-y, so get as woman-y as you want....;)

Forget the shoes....guitar center will do just fine...anyway, that's what gets this female all teary eyed and cuddly.:D

Honestly I usually stay out of this forum as I in the past I have gotten very little feedback from others. In fact, I have gotten more "anti-hip hop" responses from my posts - regardless of the song I posted for feedback.

Now I listen to all types of music and don't have a problem giving my feedback to any song - and I do - when I'm bold enough to visit this particular forum. I rather stay where I am appreciated though.

I must have missed your stuff. Post away friend...I'll give your stuff a listen. I quit listening to hip-hop back around 2001...but have loved it since High School in the 80s... I always try to focus my comments on the Mix, or overall quality of sound when posting feedback on genre's i don't like...there are several around here that do that as well...
