MP3 blockage

I was really tired last night and couldn't for the life of me make an mp3 from a .wav. Could someone give me a quick tutorial? (SX2)
One more thing, I have a MOTU 2408 MkIII and every time I open up SX I have to reset the MOTU to the 424 PCI card. Is that normal?

Download CDex.

Much easier than messing around in Cubase.

If you're set on using Cubase, import wav, set L/R locators, export as mp3. It's really that simple.
