O.K. how do I do it?
I have some drum tracks created in ACID I want to move to another computer.
They are 24 bit files. I can move them by burning them as 16 bit and move them no problem, and no big deal if I move them as 16 bit. But It has become a thang, to move them as 24 bit files!

But my burner program will not burn 24 bit files (Roxio)

I have ACID on both computers and thought I could move them as ACID project files, but doesn't work. What stupid thing am I missing?

thanks for any help with my degree of ineptness!

you need to burn the CD as a DATA disc...not as an audio disc. Only create an audio disc when you are trying to get the audio to play back in a CD player and have created 44.1kHz/16 bit files.
If you are transferring anything between two places....create DATA discs. This just keeps the files as they are and burns them to CD. You could also move the ACID projects with you, however I'm not sure how ACID stores it's audio information...but it probably needs you to bring along the audio files you've created/linked to in ACID. That way it knows which audio it needs to playback on the other computer.
