I am using the 828 MKII and somebody is selling me the 896HD 828 have MIDI and 896HD not,896hd use XLR'S and 828 TRS.Would that be a good upgrade for my actual piece??

What exactly are you doing with your recording gear? If you just want more pre-amps why not just add a Motu 8pre to your 828?
If you could provide more information on what you're doing and what you are trying to achieve I'm sure answers will come much quicker

Thanks for the reply,well it is just because my 828 have TRS inputs on the back and I just bought the ISA 428 and that one have XLR outputs,other than that I was wondering if conversion would be superior on the 896. I don't need onboard pres because I have the ISA an the octane.I don't use MIDI because I have the MOTU MiDI express.
When you say 896HD do you actually mean the MOTU 896 mk3 ?
