Motu 24i Problem

Hi i have a Motu 24i. I bought it used about 2 years ago and it's been working fine. It has great sound quality and everything but theres just one problem that irritates me. When it's on for about an hour or less it tends to have a delay going into the computer. If i shut it off for about 10min it goes back to normal.

Is this an overheating issue or something? is there anyway to fix it?

When you put your hand on the unit is it so hot that you can't keep you hand there?

It could also be a driver issue. Is this a new problem?

Try updating your drivers if you haven't already.

It's not a new problem. But it's been bothering me now because i'm starting to record other bands for full days and i can't stand telling them that we have to stop for 10min. I will try updating the drivers again maybe that will work. thanks.
