Motif Rack and Pro Tools problem

Does anyone know how to get the Yamaha Motif Rack to work with Pro Tools Le? I've been having this problem a long long time ago and I just can't get it to work. Does anyone have a similar setup that they can show me? I desperately need a lot of help on this. If anyone can help me out with this, it'll probably be the greatest help ever. Thanks so much in advance.

what exactly do you expect it to do? Its a midi synth module, make a midi track, route the midi out of PT to the synth module, route the audio out of the synth module back into PT, easy as that...

I appreciate you response altitude909. But the thing is that after I recorded the midi stuff into Pro Tools, I can't hear any of the Motif's sound when I playback.

It's a silly question but, how do you rout the midi out of Pro Tools into the synth and route the audio out of the synth back into Pro Tools?

Are there any configurations you have to do in Pro Tools or the Motif?

I really really appreciate your help. Please get back at me on this.

If you are lost on routing audio and midi into protools then maybe its time you cracked the manual, this is all chapter one type stuff.

the midi track has to have its output set to whatever midi interface the motif is connected to and its receive channel should correspond to whatever the midi track is sending on.

Can you describe you setup? I just want to see if what you do and what I do are the same thing. Believe me, I've tried many times.
