What the F**K is going on in this forum ?

Is there some kind of war against some race or something ?

it seems that everyone have to suck someone's d¡ck first, to get an answer.

Having to suck someone's dick is a sexual orientation thing, not a race thing ;)

But seriously, to answer your question, the Waves restoration bundle has the best NR plugs, IMHO. If that's a bit on the expensive side for you, the Sony/Sonic Foundry Noise Reduction bundle can work well on a lot of stuff, though for very high noise levels it can tend to be not as surgical in it's cleaning.

Race? Where the hell did that come from?

I think he meant race as in speed... ?????? I'm confused too.

The Waves plug ins work wonders... X-Noise, I think is the name. I recently used them in a similar situation; I was doing sound for a documentary and in a few shots, the audio came from a shitty camera mic and had TONS of background noise. Used the Waves plug in to get rid of most of the noise, boosted 1-4 Khz... worked like magic.

Another vote here for the waves restoration bundle.

Expensive but worth it. They do add a little bit of digital artifacts but if you do it right it'll be much better than all the noise you currently say you have

I hear this man, if you can help, help. If not, dont say anything.

yeah, it was a racist smartass comment, because we all know that only minorities get the smartass treatment here. F()@#( @ing einstein, that one....the only racist stuff floating around comes from people like you with a chip up the third point of contact.

Just wanted to add, you will find that you get better results by running the material through several passes of NR at moderate settings rather than trying to get rid of all noise in one pass.

It was stupid, ignorant and un-called for. People throw out the race card so haphazardly that it shows who the real racist is with a statement like that. Nobody even knows what "race" this buffoon is...He started another thread somewhere and said "By the white, I'm a white guy". Talk about being obsessed. He's an idiot no matter what race he is, though I don't think it's "human".

wtf is going on in here??? the guy's right, you wanna get rid of noise, sometimes spending a butt-load of time manually taking it out can be really helpful..yeh the question may have been answered in a bit of a smart-ass way, but neither was it rude or disrespectful, nor was it in any way, shape or form rascist..

again: wtf???
