How come my recordings aren't as loud as commercial CD's?
If you turn them up to 11, that should suffice...... :D

What's the best monitors i can get for $100? Sadly enough, i think i asked that once!!!! :D

This is supposed to be such a helpful place!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yes: how did I miss that one?

Here's an answer to ALL the questions:

Record.

Critique.

Record some more.

Figure out what's missings.

Buy it [notice, I didn't say, Steal it or Crack it].

Continue above process for 30 years.

Where did this idea come up that recording professionally is easy? Been reading too many M-Audio ads?

Here's a statement i've always found funny and irritating!

I recorded a track and made copies of it but it still only sounds like one person. How do you make it sound doubled?

This thread would be even better if we used quotes of the annoying posts, with links. Or would that be too mean? Oops... annoying question.

Yeah, and hopefully, after you took a bit of heat, you learned, and most people were kind to you.... :D

I've asked more than my fair share of questions that annoyed people....

Yep. I used to do some pretty dumn stuff. I think a little while after i joined, i started up a thread about the studio projects stuff. Bad move. My rep went down so quick!! I was talkin about how the sp c1 sucked but the nady scm 950 had a sweet silky high end. I don't know what was wrong with my ears!!! All my other mics have been collecting dust since i bought the C1. Those were the forum newbie days!!

quality AAA nike shoes always cracks my sides to the point of pain

I regularly sing into my shoe.......................................when it's on someone elses foot & they've kicked me

3 Questions

What is the best low cost recording mic?

What is the best mic for rap vocals?

Are those $10 knockoffs really as good as a SM57/U87/etc?

Come on, guys. This one is so obvious.

What's the difference between an sm57 and a 58?

.

I really don't get why you're all annoyed by these questions, or "pissed off", "irritated", or any of the other things people have said. I could understand if you HAD to answer them, like if someone was holding a gun to your head and making you answer the same questions over and over again. But you don't have to. Hell, you don't even have to read the questions. Usually the title of the thread implies what's going to be asked, so if you don't think you're going to like the question, don't open the thread. Even if the title doesn't give it away, just move the mouse over it and get the gist of the post. That takes about half a second. What, you've got more important things you could have done in that half a second? Like jacking off or something? I doubt that half a second is ever going to totally screw up your plans for the day. I understand that newbies should use the search function. Im still at ultra newbie level myself, and I do it...but most of them just want a simple answer to their question, one that relates directly to their personal situation, and they probably have no intention of sticking around and "making friends". So in conclusion, if you don't like the question, don't answer it. Or even easier, don't even open the thread.

Wow, I think that's the longest post I've ever done.
Flame and neg rep away...I couldn't care less..I'm off to jack off now.

I can't believe people havn't posted the "How do I get my amp to sound heavier" one in. I havn't posted it but it's fucking tempting, as I don't have anyone to roll the mic around my speaker. Till i reach that "sweet spot"

and yes the <$100 mic rap threads,

Also that weirdo who started that rap battle :D which by the way NEVER HAPPENED I WANTED IT TO HAPPEN
