Hi,
I am using a midiman 4x4 hooked via USB to PC using Cakewalk Home Studio 2002. I have 4 modules connected to the 4x4. I can see all 4 ports available in the "midi output" selections and can make any one of them #1 and it works great. I cannot, however, get more than one to play at a time. Just which ever one I make number 1 plays. Number 2 3 and 4 are assignable as outputs, but the midiman doesn't respond to them. I'm pretty sure I should be able to send midi data to at least 2 or 3 at a time.
PC, XP home, HS2002. Any help or sugestions are greatly appreciated.

thanks,

I think the problem is in teh software not midiman 4x4. If you can see all 4 midi inputs in CW then it means they work, think your problem is mapping the inputs with the outputs channels to the modules. Did you try mapping them in "OPTIONS" > "INSTRUMENTS" > (block the output channels and map it with the input) > "OK"
See if that helps. Good Luck!

thanks, not sure what you mean there but I'll fire it all up today and try that. To clarify, I have a XV Roland, Kurzweil, and Yamaha module, and Alesis drum module that I'm trying to run from the Cakewalk, via the midiman. I thought the " options, instruments" stuff had to do with the pc onboard sounds. Thanks
