more than 2 channels?

Which interfaces are "stackable" so that you can send more than 2 channels into the computer? Ill be recording an a cappella group in the fall, and really need 4 or 5 separate channels to records at once.

Also, why aren't there more interfaces with more than 2 channels? I think the only one I've seen is the firebox/pod/whatever.

most PCI or Firewire interfaces will do more than 2
no if you're talking interfaces with more than two PREAMPS, that's different.
