I don't think it worked last time, it hasnt shown up and its been about 10 mins...

I'm working on mixing an industrial project with one of my friends. I want to know how to get a little more umf from some of the drum/beat parts in the songs.

Specifically: http://www.myspace.com/maggotind the song "death by water" (TS Elliot reference ) I want the beat to be more powerful, similar to what rudy ratzinger has for :wumpscut: (like the embryodead or war drum sounds)

I have a mix that isnt posted with some compression, but it seems to make the beat sound like a scratch.

Any Ideas/Hints?

You don't have the drums very loud compared to the rest of the mix. Get the drums up over the mix and beat them back with a limiter.
