What do you suggest?
Is it size I am looking for when it comes to monitors?

I keep reading that you are as good as you can hear. So Bigger monitors are like bigger ears?

Any reccomendations for monitors under 1000.00 or even under 500.00?
I know you get what you pay for.

Is studio foam an extra or is it a must? It seems expensive, I have tacked some pillows and cushions to my walls , I can kind of tell the difference.

there's about a billion threads about monitors and room treatment here if you take a look around, or maybe even use the search.

i mean, it's basically all we ever talk about...

oh and for a thousand bucks, give the Dynaudio BM5A a try.

oh yeah, I forgot to do a search on the billions of monitor discussions. What a generic question of me to ask. How newby of me. :D

I was pre occupied researching stuff about midi and time codes, as I am multi tasking .

don't worry, the answers you seek are out there. ;)

anyone else think we should a forum for monitors? seems there's no appropriate forum to put questions on monitoring in..

Wouldn't be a bad idea. People seem to have loads of questions on them and they're scattered all over the place.
