Hello, I just bought a pair of event tr6 monitors which i really like. the thing is, the metal plate on the back of both the monitors (not a heat sink, the tr6 has no heat sink) stays warm all the time when the monitors are off.
is this some kind of voltage stabelizing mechanisem? is this normal? can`t it damage the monitors in the long run? plz help

unplug them and leave them overnight. Are they still warm then?

I have the Event PS6 (predecessor to the TR6) and they don't do that.
If I turned them off they don't heat up, when I keep them on they are warm. I would venture to say that is not normal, but I don't own a pair of the TR6 so I don't know.
