Monitor Cable Question?

My monitors require balanced TRS cables, I didn't really pay attention but just recently looked on the back of the mons to read "Balanced" but my cables I'm using now are un-balanced. What problems would this cause? oh and I'm buying balanced cables asap.

If they're already working with unbalanced, then they don't "require" balanced - though is sounds like they support them. I'm open to correction, but I don't think you could do any harm this way - balanced just reduces noise a bit.

Yep balanced should work with unbalanced jack, just not vice versa

Unless I'm reading you wrong, he is doing the vice versa.
