What modules do ya'll like the best?

I just bought the Mo Phatt 3 days ago and I'm kinda disappointed. It has a lot of good sounds, but I like to play my melodies and chords, and for this it is not very good. It seems to have ready made beat sounds in it and all I have to do is hit the key, or play a combination of a couple keys. Almost like its providing me with samples. It does have some crutial basslines though. I 'm thinking about taking it back and getting the Trinity rack mount if I can find one.

Right now I'm working with a JV1010, S2000, and a Korg x5d. I want a module that will give me more modern sounds(the sounds that you here from todays producers) but I want to be able to mold those sounds for my own style. Something I can be creative with.

Any thoughts?

The Trinity Rack requires a computer and software to program sounds, so it's not a hands-on piece of gear. The Triton Rack is great, but more expensive.

I like the virtual analog boards a lot. The Roland JP-8080 (or 8000) sounds great and is easy to program. The Novation Supernova, Korg MS2000, and Access Virus are easy to program and be creative with.

You already have a few sample-playback synths, a virtual analog synth would give you some variety.
