Module Presets

[Shoe String]

We all use them etc, but hate them out of the box as they usally lack life and Ummph!

What are your must do's to a preset (Mainly instruments) you like and decide to use....I.E do you Add compression, Reverb, Chrous, EQ

List your top must do's to presets to get them sounding livly

Im using a Korg Trinty rack & a Mo Phatt...I hear nice sounds...Spotted many in commercial records but they dont sound ready when I use them in multi mode

I'll usually end up tweaking the attack and decay times so the patch fits the tempo better.

The other stuff you mentioned is more of a mix issue and it just depends on the arrangement. If you are just recording the stereo mixdown off of the keyboard then it will never sound very polished. You are best off recording each track seperately and processing/mixing it like a regularly recorded track
