Actually, this time I am willing to give the OP the benefit of the doubt.
Currently on Sweetwater:
Sonar Producer 8: $499.97
Waves Renaissance Maxx: $495.
He says that he just picked up the Waves bundle, this to me means that he, sometime ago purchased Sonar for around $500 which is not an outrageous amount of money, and recently paid another $500 for the Waves bundle.
Sounds pretty reasonable to me. Couple that with how much hooplah Waves gets in magazines, and how they tell you that Waves is the bee's-knees when it comes to plugins and how it will make your crap smell like roses, I am not surprised that the guy bought it w/o knowing exactly what he's doing.
This is not the Platinum or Mercury bundle folks.

You guys are funny! Yes, I bought sonar for 500 and the Waves plugs were a bithday gift if someone really needs to know this. I'm not a pro, but just a musician who enjoys recording and mixing, nothing more nothing less. I joined this site to try to get advice on my particular problems I come across. Music is my hobby and my day job pays the bills.
