mixing to stereo in Sonar XL

That was really strange, it didnt post the message the first time.

Anyways, I had 11 midi trax and bounced to 6 stereo audio trax. Bouncing them to a single stereo track took an lengthy amount of time. Im on an Athlon 1700 512 ram, 40 gig drive. I had time to go fix a sandwich and check the headline news before it was finished. This is the first time I mixed down that much audio at once. Is this normal?
 
I'd say that was fairly typical. What's your bit sampling rate, 96K and 24 k file bit depth?
 
Thats the one problem i have about Sonar it processes audio so FUCKIN SLOW compared to other programs that i've used. but maybe thats good cuz the algorithm is so sophisticated it needs to take a long time? who knows...Sonar 2.1XL for president

I did that one at 44/16
