How often do you use the waveform editing functions of you DAW?

Hey folks,

As part of a project I'm working on I'm posting 9 questions regarding mixing engineer expereince and style on this forum in the form of poll questions.

Never did because I don't know how to use it to my advantage yet
 
I do it to fix little errors in playing. In the drums, if I can cut out a single mistake where maybe he hit the rim in a roll or something like that, I'll cut it out.
 
why even have a daw if you don't do this... lining up snare hits to dead notes on guitar, syncin entrances and fades... grabing notes/words to rearrange/create melodies...
