Hey folks,

As part of a project I'm working on I'm posting 9 questions regarding mixing engineer expereince and style on this forum in the form of poll questions.

Please select the one answer that most closely matches your situation or opinion. As always, the poll itself is anonymous, but I'd greatly welcome any text post responses discussing the question and answers as well.

This is question 2 of 9.

mostly work with bands. original music only. i have started being choosy about who i work with.

Primarily me or my band, but I also record and mix others. Just finished a full length CD of someone else's stuff.

Just myself for now. Maybe when I get a bit more experienced, I'll do some recording and mixing for friends. It'll always be an amateur thing for me, though.

Myself using MIDI, all synths, sound modules, and software samplers, nothing live (except a vocal mic at times). I'd be lying if I said I could mic a guitar properly.

Like most I record, mix, master, and post-pro everything myself....

As of now, I do it all for myself and my band. Though if I can get some good results, defently would like to open my services to other bands

Pro Studio --- I mix for others (no time for a band of my own anymore!)

definetely NOT pro...

but I'm the band and the engineer

eh
