Hi.
I'm trying to learn some mixing techniques. I mostly like old songs from '80. I decided to record some covers to have any tracks that I can work with. Finally I "made" three songs by now and I would like you to comment what I should change and how I can make the vocal sit better in the song? I fell like it's too much separated and it doesn't fit like it should. Or meybe it's seems to me that it doesn't. I don't know so if you could listen to it I would appreciate any opinions and tips. Please take into account that I'm a total beginner :)
Here are the songs:
Lucifer - Blue System
My Bed Is Too Big - Blue System
A World Without You - Bad Boys Blue

I listened to Lucifer. I'm guessing the backing track is premade? The vocal seems a bit boxy maybe, sounds like a pretty good job getting it to blend in though. Some pitchiness at times so it might be worth trying a retrack of the vocal.

I listened to A world without you. Nice job! I feel you need a little more practice but then you can be a good singer.
