Anyone know of any inexpensive interfaces out there for mixing on a pc without a mouse? I know about the larger ones that have recording capabilities of their own, but right now I am just looking for a controller. any ideas?

Have you checked out the Evolution UC-16? I'm using it, and I'm happy with it! :)

(Even though WinXP didn't want to install the drivers supplied on CD, it works without any problems! Tech Support claims that this is an issue due to too high security settings, and very few users encounter this...)

Yes! That's exactly the sort of thing that I am looking for - does this work with Cakewalk Pro Audio 9? Do you know of any other interfaces on the market like this?

what about the Contour Shuttle Pro? Anyone know if that is compatible with PA9?

As far as I know it's only Sonar 2 of Cakewalk products that supports Control Surfaces directly, but MIDI-controllers only sends out midi-information, i.e. if you send out a Volume change from the controller, PA9 should (in theory) respond to that. Maybe it works, maybe not... I haven't tested it.
