Mixing classical guitar?

Thanks so much to each of you. Now that I'm thinking about it, there's a fistful of information here.

It simply is NOT suitable as recording equipment, and that's all there is to it.

I just came across this thread and I think you're being a little hard on Bruce... he was giving you some pretty good advice.

As for yours setup, it is pretty decent for a "home studio".... but the mic just doesn't cut it, even for a mere "home studio" standard. I think by now you have a pretty clear idea of what mic to get, so I am not gonna get into that.

as for me, I am using a APEX110 condensor mic (cheap)with a cheap Beh**** mixer. I am pretty happy with the decent sound I get. The next thing I may get is a preamp to make it even better... :)
