Mixing arean placement before placing panels?

I have just finished making 6 OC 703 panels. I know where to place them, but wanted peoples opinion on where to place my table for mixing. I have a garage. 20x20. Right now I face eastwall, 2 feet off wall. About in center of room On my right side is an insulated aluminum garage door. Behind me are a dryer, washer, and furnace. Left side wall with door to house. Concrete floor. Drywall walls. Ceiling 8 foot. My question is, should I face with the dryer,washer,etc in front of me instead of behind me. If so, I cant get to close to them. Gotta have room to get clothes. Not a good place but its all I got.

I guess facing the aluminum door would be the best. Having that one one side is going to give you all sorts of reflections - non-symmetrical because the other side is drywall. You're going to need a lot more than 7 bass traps!

Oh yeah, 6 panels is just a start. Next is bass traps. Im just looking for the best position to start.
