I recorded this song last week, and it is still not complete yet. I need advice on where it could be improved. I also am curious on people's suggestions for what kind of vocals would sound good with the song.

Cubase
M-audio Quatro
Alesis 12R mixer (used the direct outs for preamps)
spirit absolute 2 monitors (though i have been having problems with them)
mics:
Kick - SM58
Snare - SM57
Overheads - sm58 and MXL990
guitar - combination of MXL 990, AKG 770, and SM57 out of a peavey 5150, through a fender cab
Bass - direct
