Whats a good mixer for recording that has post eq for the direct outs of each channels?

Ive been doing some looking into this myself and from what I have heard the Mackie 24-8 (24 channels, 8 buses) have post EQ direct outs, also the Midas Venice series and if Im correct the Allen&Heath GL2400 series can be configured either pre-EQ or Post-EQ by switching a jumper connection. These are all pretty pricy depending on your budget. ($2000-$5000 depending on how many inputs and buses you are looking for)

If you were just looking for a few channels of Post-EQ for recording (say 2-4 channels) you could buy a cheaper mixer with 4 buses and just route your signal through them to record with the analog board EQ, But then you may be limiting your use of effects or monitor mixes through the buses.

Im still alittle new at the analog mixing boards so anyone who has more experise please feel free to correct and enlighten me, but I think im correct in what I have said.
