I'm guessing a lot of you guys would never put the words "punk" and "great recording" together.
It just so happens that I like punk and I love a good Rock and Roll record. In this case, my favorite mix has always been "Let's Go." They decided to spend more money than time and recorded a 23 song (or so) record in six days at a more expensive studio.
But besides punk, what about We're only in it for the money by Frank Zappa? Or Lumpy Gravy? He put a lot of stuff on those few tracks they had at the time.
