Mix that needs feeback

Something seems awkward about the guitar transitions and positioning. Cymbals are panned way out but guitars seem tightly spaced. Maybe some more panning on them?
 
Some pretty nice riffs you got going there. Guitar sounds good except that there's a phasey fizziness in the background about them that kind of bothered me. How did you record them? Where's the snare drum? I had to really listen hard to make it out. I suspect this is gonna have Trivium-like vocals on it......;)

I recorded the guitars in with Pod Farm in Reaper....... and yea i'm not sure where the snare went........
 
Sounded OK. Some good playing.

Heard a little crackle on the right side at :43.

The panning seems to be moving around. Drum kit seems to get wide, then narrow. Doubled guitars, same thing.

Guitars sound decent. But to me they're missing just a little bit of sizzle - they're a bit too muffled.
