Mix my song?

I uploaded the tracks to my rocka/psychobilly song for one of the users here to mix, and I thought someone else might want to take a stab at it. I'm curious what someone better than me can come up with.

note: files are 48000khz sampling freq, cause thats the only way I can make my shitty soundcard cooperate with ASIO and all that driver bullshit.

Thanks, but I'm really only a half-assed mixer. As much time and money as I've invested, I should be WAY better! (It's especially humbling with a lot of the great tracks posted up in here that were recorded by a noob with little gear) :embarrassed:

Yeah, I had that problem too. Seemed much easier to just annihilate em and call it a day!

Dammit! It appears that mine is at the wrong speed. I had a hell of a time getting everything to sync at 48khz, and when I dumped it to a 44.1, it screwed the whole mix up. Now I know why. Oh well.........

It was sounding decent when I was mixing it, but the exported file didn't sound anywhere near the same. Maybe I'll try and re-dump the track at 48, and then change it to 44.1 with SF or something......

OK. Still don't know why this song goes screwey when I try and dump it. I had to adjust all the levels after the first dump, and re-dump it so it sounds at least close to what it did while mixing. Strange.

thanks for taking time to mix my shitty song. Sorry I didn't have time to listen until now, but I had a lot of shit goin on.

I'm taking a listen on laptop speakers right now, Ill post exactly what i think of each mix, when i get home.


ps. i see most of you went with the megaphone the vocals way... they were recorded byy a buddy of mine with a shitty skype microphone, so not much could be done.
