Doesn't work either. Go to the mp3, copy the address and paste it here.

I finnaly could upload the mp3 to lighrningmp3.com
This MUST WORK FINE!

here's my fairly quick attempt, I'm not %100 happy with it.. but then again, I doubt I ever will be... any all feedback is appreciated (sorry for using soundclick, but lightning Mp3 never accepts my files for some reason)

cheers.

btw picadogrueso: I didn't notice you got the link to work finally, I love your mix, my only sugestion is that the main vocals are a bit low (the background "ooh's" are louder then the main singing) other then that I love the guitars.. what did you do to the guitar for the solo? it sounds great :D.

good job :) )

I think may be your monitoring cause the vox in your mix is way way way way way hi. Check that out.

Yes! Way loud. :D

Some of the mixes are pretty impressive - especially the guys that got the vox sounding decent. One thing I did notice was that in pretty much all the mixes, they are so heavily limited, that the intro is pumped way up, and when the song kicks in, so does the limiter. It makes it feel like the song gets smaller, not bigger. This seems very unnatural to me.

Just a thought.

:D

I just passed the track though an amp simulator and that make the difference.:)
BTW Other opinions on my mixing skills are welcome.:D

You are probably right. I just got T-Racks 3 and I'm getting used to that brickwall limiter. Maybe I'm overdoing it. :) Thanks for pointing it out.

actually what I think it was was ear fatigue. (lesson learned)
I'll give it another shot once I'm back home.
cheers :D

Sorry for reviving this thread from the dead..

I finally got back into my "studio", and quickly re-did the whole song, same link, same song (I just updated it) (TRCK) any critique welcome :)

NL5's guitars and drums with bull hit's vocals is the winning combo imo
