I'm gonna give this a shot but I won't be able to get to it until the coming weekend. I just got some new monitors and I'm going to try mixing on both my old and new ones. Either way my mixing still sucks! Thanks for putting this up RAMI. I don't get much of a chance to do any recording so it's nice when someone uploads tracks like this.

I'm gonna give this a shot but I won't be able to get to it until the coming weekend. I just got some new monitors and I'm going to try mixing on both my old and new ones. Either way my mixing still sucks! Thanks for putting this up RAMI. I don't get much of a chance to do any recording so it's nice when someone uploads tracks like this.

I agree, and i´m very impressed with convertes of Rami´s Tascam 2488 (at least he talk that uses 2488 in his forum).

I can't participate in this because all I have is two track mixdown software (Sound Forge). I'm still doing most of my mixing using hardware.

Might have to write out my Christmas wish list for Adobe Audition 2.0

Anyway, I'm looking forward to hearing the different mixes to see how different directions this will take....

Have you tried Reaper? It's free and would certainly be useable for something like this.

Certainly better than a Tascam mixer + cheap AD/DA ("converter"or "conversor", blamed in translate?)

Yeah...mines no where near done. Just wanted to do a rough one to get a feel for the song, then see what I might do. I need to work on the drums mostly, but I'm slow with them.

Don't forget to reverse the polarity on the snare. It might take care of the "boxiness" you thought your drum mix had. Don't change what you did to the vocals, though.

The guitar at the start is pretty cool....that's a good effect for this really. Nice clean mix Nak....bass is good and punchy. Good panning on the vox...pretty cool.
