Midi starting troubles...

When i start midi playback,
It sometimes skips the first note or two...
sometimes, one loud blast...then silence.
Its frustrating.

I have everything routed the right way....
Im using an EMagic MT4 USB interface.
With Acid Pro 4. I have 512mb of RAM.

Sometimes when i mix WAV files and midi,
The midi seems off a bit.

These are just minor questions.

They arent constant problems...just sometimes.
Just the midi part of my work is buggy...id like to fix it.
Sometime tracks dont play until i start the song over.

any info would be great.

512 RAM is decent, but not enough to handle big MIDI files... You need at least 1 GB to work with audio...

A year ago I had 1Gb and sometime my iMac suffered when bouncing MIDI tracks along with wave files. Now I've upgraded to 2Gb and the problems are almost gone. And I'm talking abou a Mac. Think about how much RAM a PC would need.
